For the last four years, my novels have been available to purchase through various different online retailers, including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Apple Books and Google Play, to name a few.
Over the past year, I have deliberated, agonised and basically driven myself to distraction over whether or not to withdraw my books from some, or all, of these stores.
The reason my decision has taken so long is ultimately due to the respect I have for my readers and the loyalty they have shown me. However, I must do what is in the best interests of my author brand.
Therefore, as of 19 April 2019, I will be requesting my novels be removed from sale at the following sites:
- Barnes & Noble/Nook
- Apple Books
- Google Play
- Baker & Taylor
- 24 Symbols
I appreciate this announcement may come as sad news to some, and you may feel that my decision in this regard is unfair, but trust me, this hasn’t been an easy conclusion to reach. This not only affects myself as an author, it also affects you, the reader.
If you have already purchased my novels from any of the above sites, but have yet to read them, I believe you will still have access to them (if you have any queries, please contact the customer services department for your retailer). If you are half way through the series, you have until 19 April to purchase the remaining novels (if you so wish) on your preferred platform.
In the future, I may expand distribution once again through the above websites, but for now, they will only be available on Amazon.
If you would like to contact me, to either rant and rave or just give me your POV, please leave a comment below or drop me an email.
Finally, for my readers on the sites listed above, I appreciate the dedication and support you have given me over the last four years.
