Redemption and Kindle Unlimited
Hi all, Back in May, I kindly (and regrettably for some) informed you that I would be removing my novels from the Kindle Unlimited subscription programme. All but one of these novels has now been removed. The last novel, Redemption, will expire on 13 August 2022. If you are a KU subscriber and would like to ‘keep’ a copy of this, you can download it until 11:59 (pacific time) and it will still be accessible on your device even after it has been released from KU. You will be able to keep it for as long as you like and also be able to read it as many times as…
Attention all romance readers!
Do you only read your novels using your Kindle Unlimited subscription? Do you prefer to purchase your novels via B&N or Applebooks? If so, read on… When I first started publishing my novels in 2014, I was originally published on all ebook retailers, including libraries and independent subscription providers. I chose this path because back then the Kindle programme wasn’t particularly desirable in how authors were paid in exchange for their commitment and exclusivity. Over the years, it has become more appealing to those of us who were curious about the rewards of being exclusive. So in 2019, regardless that I had fabulous sales traction and visibility on B&N, Kobo,…
Redemption playlist
Hi all, So, this is something I always say I’m going to do, but I always forget to! Like most (if not all) writers, music plays a large part in what I write. Just a simple sentence or a single lyric can inspire. Throughout writing Redemption, various songs were fitting and appropriate for the scenes I was writing. Below is the fairly extensive playlist for the book (and not in any particular order). Elle X Redemption – Playlist: Kaiser Chiefs – I predict a riot The Rolling Stones – Gimme Shelter Steroephonics – Maybe tomorrow Faithless – Insomnia George Michael – Killer/Papa was a Rollin’ Stone George Michael – The…
New release coming May 2022!
Hi all, It’s been a while, and I think it’s safe to say it’s been an eventful few years for all of us. Just like everyone else, I’ve primarily been trying to live through this pandemic and ensure my loved ones are safe and well. For the last year (or two), many of you have emailed me about book 5 in The Fractured Series, Redemption. My initial aim was to get this released by the end of 2021, but I personally felt it wasn’t feasible, hence why I’ve never published a release date. It wasn’t fair to put myself in the position whereby I felt I had to get something…
Happy Valentine’s Day and Box Set Offer!
Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! I hope you all have a great day. In celebration this year, Amazon are featuring The Fractured Series Box Set as part of a Kindle Valentine’s Day deal. For one day only (14 February 2022), the box set will be priced at AUD $1.49! This is a significant reduction on the normal retail price. If you’ve already read the original trilogy via KU and enjoyed it, grab yourself a copy to keep. Or if you know anyone who might be interested in reading a new romance series, gift them a copy. Unfortunately, this offer is only available to those shopping on the Amazon.com Australia store. If…
Paperbacks…at last! And a few other things to note…
Hi all! I’m esctastic to announce that the full series (including the novella) are finally available to purchase in paperback format! I’ve been promising this for a while and now it’s finally come to fruition. I must say, it’s very weird to hold ‘my writing’, but I’m also very proud. The books produced via Amazon look absolutely amazing and I’m incredibly happy with them… Even if Faithless is a bit of door stop – I never realised 600 pages was so big! So a few things, please note if you are interested in purchasing paperback copies, they will not be available outside of Amazon, and they will not be included…
Bye Bye Free, Hello KU!
Last year, I made my series available through Kindle Unlimited for the first time ever. During that time, Fractured, the first book of the series, was still available as a free download, as it is a tried and tested marketing method that works. Upon further reflection, I realise how unfair this was to readers using other sales platforms to purchase their books, and not being able to purchase the rest of the series from their preferred vendor. With this in mind, I have made the decision to delist it from the last remaining vendor outside of Amazon, thus removing the automatic free price matching. Therefore, book one is now priced…
Xpresso Book Tours & Competition Winner – July 2019

Something old, something new, and something exciting…hopefully
I’m going to kill a few birds with one stone here, so please bear with me. Over the last few years, I have received various emails from readers enquiring whether the rest of my books will ever be offered for free, and why my series is not available through the Kindle Unlimited programme. I have never addressed or responded to these issues, but I will now. So firstly, regarding the pricing of my novels. Contrary to what many people believe, pricing your book low or sending it out into the wild for free (whether permanently or occasionally) does not devalue it. This is definitely a topic of contention, and there…
